Engineering Hiring Track:

General expectations: 

  • The candidate will be registered as an Apprentice under the Apprenticeship Act through a tripartite agreement involving the professional, organization and an appropriate government agency
  • The selected candidate will be on a 1-year probation from the joining date
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
  • Ability to chart one’s career and build networks within the organization
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and raise concerns/questions where appropriate
  • Interact with the stakeholders on a regular basis through face-to-face interactions/video conferences/teleconferences/emails to understand the global client processes and business problems
  • Suggest practical solutions and collaborate with stakeholders to implement the solution
  • Possess knowledge of methodologies and understanding of process improvement initiatives
  • Interact with Deloitte global clients’ functional subject matter specialists
  • Willingness to work in shifts
  • Be quality-focused and demonstrate professionalism
  • Ability to code in any programming language and good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Qualification required and eligibility

  • Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) or Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) with specialization in Computer Science; Allied Computer Science streams, Information Technology and all Circuital branches;
  • Master of Technology (M.Tech) or Integrated Master of Technology (5 years iMtech) with specialization in Computer Science; Allied Computer Science streams and Information Technology
  • Master of Computer Application
  • The year of graduation should be 2025
  • Aggregate of 60% or equivalent CGPA and above in current degree with no active backlogs

Role: Analyst trainee

Analyst trainees at Deloitte are expected to develop strong technical skills in the system/ technology area they work in. As a part of the project onboarding process, you are provided with training/awareness aimed at building proficiency in the role. It involves the development of technical and behavioral skills as per defined proficiency levels (as per the Expectation Framework), understanding of the organization-specific tools and methodologies, and focused capability building on communication excellence as per Deloitte standards.

About the team:

The Technology team offers both advisory and implementation services that provide clients with state-of-the-art solutions to help them better manage the critical business of information technology. As an Analyst Trainee you may work on the below areas:
  • Delivery of specific Technology capability
  • Understand business requirements and needs
  • Support technical/functional/process document creation and maintain an effective library
  • Build, test, and deliver solutions
  • Support application design
  • Responsible for technical specification creation
  • Responsible for code development and unit testing
  • Responsible for test data creation and test scripts creation and execution
  • Suggest infrastructure-building activities
  • Adhere to defined processes and tools while performing day-to-day operations
  • Develop and/or validate statistical models (financial risk models) for clients using various tools & techniques
  • Apply analytical skills to perform quantitative and qualitative assessment of the model design, data, estimation techniques and performance

Undergraduate Science Hiring Track:

General expectations: 

  • The candidate will be registered as an Apprentice under the Apprenticeship Act through a tripartite agreement involving the professional, organization and an appropriate government agency
  • The selected candidate will be on a 1-year probation from the joining date
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) to be able to communicate on a global platform
  • Moderate analytical and problem-solving skills to identify areas of continuous improvement
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Should be client centric and demonstrate high sense of ownership, attention to detail and process adherence
  • Moderate skills in programming languages like C, C++, Java, Python and/or others, Programming foundations, Relational Databases, Networking Concepts, SQL and understanding of the cybersecurity/risk domains would bean added advantage
  • Expectation will include working in multi-geographic time-zones with global client partners

Qualification required and eligibility

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) – Any combination with Computer Science/IT/Cyber Security
  • Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA)
  • The year of graduation should be 2025
  • Aggregate of 60% or equivalent CGPA and above in current degree with no active backlogs

Role – Associate Analyst

Work you’ll do:

Associate Analysts are expected to develop strong skills in the system/ technology area they will be working in. As a part of the onboarding process on projects, you are provided with training/awareness aimed at building proficiency in the role. It involves development of technical and behavioural skills as per defined proficiency levels (as per the Expectation Framework), understanding of the organization specific tools and methodologies and focused capability building on communication excellence as per required standards.  Your responsibilities may include:

  • Working on projects of moderately complex scope, handling incident response support, troubleshooting, problem solving
  • Simplifying technical issues for clients as part of operations, reporting on common sources of such issues and making recommendations to them accordingly
  • Communicating key findings to project team leader and extended project network (as applicable) Working towards improvisation and monitoring – delivering better value to the customer

Undergraduate Commerce and Allied Courses Hiring Track:

General expectations: 

  • The candidate will be registered as an Apprentice under the Apprenticeship Act through a tripartite agreement involving the professional, organization and an appropriate government agency
  • The selected candidate will be on a 1-year probation from the joining date
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) to be able to communicate on a global platform
  • Moderate analytical and problem-solving skills to identify areas of continuous improvement
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Should be client centric and demonstrate high sense of ownership, attention to detail and process adherence
  • Expectation will include working in multi-geographic time-zones with global client partners
  • Basic understanding of the following topics – Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Financial Markets and Institutions, Financial Analysis and Reporting, Business Mathematics and Statistics, Business Analysis and Valuation and Cost Accounting would be an added advantage
  • Any certification on ERP – Oracle/SAP or analytical/reporting tools would be an added advantage

Qualification required and eligibility

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Business Management (BBM), Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS), Bachelor of Financial Services (BFS) or equivalent degree
  • Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com)

Role – Associate Analyst

Work you’ll do:

Associate Analysts are expected to work with diverse teams of professionals across the globe to serve our clients and keep their lights on to help their business metrics are achieved with no business disruptions in their daily processes.  Your responsibilities may include:

Support Service Delivery:
  • Understand process workflow / steps and executes process level transactions using ERP systems / digital tools
  • Ensure that individual productivity targets are met
  • Maintain master data for data entry and highlight any concerns in master data management
  • Act as initial point of interaction for identifying root cause analysis
  • Resolve queries (internal and external) related to process transactions within defined turnaround time
  • Highlight any process steps which are taking more than designated time frequently
  • Assist new colleagues in understanding the process nuances
  • Participate with the operations team effectively in transitions, documenting processes and achieving set goals
  • Undergo trainings to strengthen knowledge in functional process domain, Lean Sig Sigma, process documentation / SIPOC, and Deloitte’s tools & accelerators
