Responsibilities
- As a User Experience Engineer, you will:
- Build user web experiences using React.js, Angular and Web Components
- Build backing services to power the frontends using Node.js and Java
- Build software libraries for engineering teams to use for their application development, code quality assurance and product delivery
- Evaluate UX designs for technical feasibility and delivery timeliness
- Test applications and libraries using enterprise tools such as Cypress, Vitest and Puppeteer
- Manage delivered web experiences ensuring continuous iterative improvement by capturing user feedback
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews and contribute to the development of code quality standards and software best practices
- Mentor and coach junior team members to promote growth and learning
- Collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure software solutions meet requirements and are delivered on time
- Research and evaluate new technologies and software solutions to drive innovation and continuous improvement
- Lead and contribute to software architecture and design decisions
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- Proficient in building applications using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, ReactJS and Angular
- Experience with frontend development tools such as Node.js, Babel, Vite, Webpack, NPM, and Nx
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Desire to research and stay up to date on emerging user experience technologies and practices
